At Games for a living we develop exciting AAA blockchain games, as well as the tools to help gamers and game developers benefit from crypto. We are expanding, and are on the lookout for an experienced Marketing Director to join our highly motivated team.
The Marketing Director will work closely with the CMO to design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across a number of channels, including social media, search, email, advertising and events, from concept to execution. The role will cover the full product life-cycle for our upcoming crypto games and NFT sales.
In this role, you will work closely with operations and business development to create and drive a steady flow of industry-relevant campaigns, developing, overseeing and coordinating the multi-channel execution with other marketing team members. You will own the relevant KPIs and work with stakeholders to deliver on the campaign objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Planning and Execution: Working closely with other teams of the marketing department, you will organise, coordinate and deliver marketing activities, including game and NFT launch campaigns,events, corporate communications and advertising initiatives.
- Content Marketing: You will create marketing copy for marketing and communications activity, as well as oversee internal and external marketing asset production, delivery and distribution (including email), ensuring all content aligns with corporate objectives.
- Marketing Metrics: You will develop KPIs to assess and monitor campaign success and deliver reports for all integrated marketing campaigns, providing insights and feedback to ensure learnings are fed into future activities.
- Partnerships and third parties: You will work with industry partners and other third parties, including agencies, to develop marketing campaigns, drive the execution of the marketing strategy and optimise efforts.
About you
Essential:
- Excellent writing and strong copywriting skills in English and Spanish.
- 5-7 years of marketing experience, ideally in the video game or entertainment industry.
- Experience managing multiple projects, agencies and stakeholders.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects from planning to execution.
- Experience managing a small team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, with attention to detail, a can-do attitude and creative flair.
- Comfortable using data and KPIs to assess integrated marketing campaign performance.
- A passion for gaming and/or an interest in the blockchain.
Nice to have:
- Professional marketing experience in the video game or blockchain industry.
- Website performance and optimisation, wordpress and CMS experience.
- Knowledge of any other European languages.
- International B2C marketing experience.
